Janet Davis Martinsville Week is here...selling hot dogs on Friday in the pits and gearing up for the influx of traffic to all the retail establishments in Danville- at least it helps the economy!

Janet Davis I survived selling hot dogs in the garage at Martinsville! I've never seen any people buy more hot dogs in my whole life! Hopefully I can do it again next year! I got to interact with a lot of great people in the NASCAR community!

About me I am a marketing coordinator for the Danville and Richmond, VA offices of a large national Architectural and Engineering firm. I have my undergraduate degree in Interior Design from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and my Master of Business Administration from Radford University. It is my hope to one day move out of Virginia and get a job working in marketing or in obtaining sponsorships for Nascar teams even though that dream may be a little too big to accomplish. My favorite drivers are Clint Bowyer, Brian Vickers, and Carl Edwards. The farthest I've ever gone to watch a race is an 18 hour drive straight from Virginia to Kansas with only gas stops. 2011 will probably hold the regular tracks for me- Charlotte and Martinsville. My big trip this year will be going to Boston to see New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys at Fenway Park, so it will not revolve around Nascar this year!
Hobbies Watching Nascar, Virginia Tech Football, Duke Basketball, doing anything artsy, hanging out with friends, and traveling.
